Volunteer with Us
In keeping with the philosophy of the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, which is “We All Work Together To Help One Another,” we work alongside volunteers to empower their gifts and strengths in order to gain a sense of belonging and involvement in their own community.
Training Opportunities
Everyone has inherent strengths and it is our role to create opportunities to realize these strengths within our community. Our mission is grounded within this understanding and our belief in the roles we play in the care and nurturing of future generations.
Become a Care Provider
Care Providers (otherwise known as Foster Parents) who are part of the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Caring for Our Relatives Program provide culturally appropriate, safe and nurturing homes for individual and sibling groups based on a community care model.
